Blue Monday. Let’s get (more) brutally honest (One year later)...

A year ago, we wrote about frustration being a mismatch. Today, let’s be even more honest. Blue Monday is not about the weather. It’s about the quiet realization that you are very good at a job that no longer makes sense 🎣. 

In the past year, we have spoken to many leaders. Most of them are not tired. They are misplaced.

Wrong board.

Wrong owner.

Wrong strategy.

Wrong expectations.

So they optimise.

They survive.

They present.

But they no longer build.

And deep down they know it. And we tell them. So if today feels blue, don’t ask for motivation. Ask a harder question:

Am I still where I’m meant to make an impact, or just where I ended up?

Sometimes, one honest conversation is all it takes to find out.
