Posting this feels a little outside my comfort zone, but if the past six months have taught me anything, it's that growth happens when we embrace discomfort. So here goes...

Six months ago, I made a big decision —I took the leap into entrepreneurship. I walked away from stability, from familiarity, and from a path that no longer aligned with who I was. I had to be brutally honest with myself: What did I truly want? The answer was clear—I wanted to take back control and focus on the stuff that mattered most to me.

That’s when I launched my own business, Alta Advisory, an M&A boutique. But that wasn’t enough. In January, I co-founded &The Big Fish, an executive search and interim consultancy firm built on the belief that finding the right people isn’t just about skills—it’s about values, ambition, and true alignment. We don’t just fill roles. We make matches that drive impact.

At &The Big Fish, we stand for Brutal Honesty—in business and in life. Growth only happens when we face the truth head-on. No excuses, no delusions, no playing it safe. Whether it’s about the future of a company, the dynamics of a team, or your own personal ambitions, clarity and directness always win over sugarcoated half-truths.

The past six months have been a rollercoaster—full of highs, lessons, and moments of doubt. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: honesty isn’t just a value. It’s a competitive advantage. It’s the difference between feeling stuck and creating a life that aligns with who you truly are.

To those building their own path: be bold, be honest, and keep pushing forward. The best things happen when you take the leap!Ā
