🐠 &The Big Fish is looking for a Head of Performance Marketing 🐠

For an international, fast-growing marketing tech scale-up, we're looking for an experienced leader to take performance marketing to the next level. The organisation works with affiliates and advertisers worldwide, and over the coming years wants to gain significantly more grip on the full customer journey, from creation and targeting to conversion and retention.

The company expects to triple in size in a short period of time, with the share of direct acquisition set to grow substantially. As a result, the performance marketing domain is expected to expand considerably over the next two years. This is one of the organisation's key growth pillars.

We're looking for someone who: 

✅ has proven people management experience in a performance-driven or agency environment 

✅ deeply understands direct media buying, paid social and paid search 

✅ is commercially strong and steers on CAC, ROI, margin and lifetime value 

✅ can scale and structure a team, and set out a clear growth roadmap 

✅ can assess and diversify channels such as Meta, Google, Reddit, TikTok and Snapchat 

✅ works in a data-driven way without needing to be a specialist themselves 

✅ is strong enough to bring specialists and senior stakeholders along and keep them sharp

This role is for someone who doesn't step into an established structure, but wants to build, professionalising a team, diversifying channels, and setting up an acquisition engine that will make the difference in the years ahead. You'll work closely with the CEO and be part of the leadership team.

Brutally honest: this is not a role for a first step into management, nor for someone who prefers to maintain rather than transform. Anyone looking for a clearly mapped-out path won't feel at home here. The team is international and the working language is English.
